Every service states the subject, question, number of sources/items and maximum research time. The first applicable limit ends the investigation. Sources are free/public or customer-supplied unless the customer separately chooses a paid provider record. Public availability does not imply lawful reuse. Sources may be incomplete, inaccessible, missing, inaccurate, mistranscribed, conflicting or nonexistent.
We report documented findings with citations, hypotheses as hypotheses, unresolved alternatives and unsuccessful searches. A public tree or family story is a lead, not proof. Absence of a record is not proof that an event did not occur. A documented entry is evidence of what the record says; it is not automatically independent proof of the underlying fact. Conclusions reflect the evidence reasonably available and may change.
A sourced written report, search log, limitations and next steps are included. One consolidated factual correction request within 14 days of delivery is included within the purchased scope. New people, records, questions, translation, travel, certificates and expanded research require a separately agreed order. Research involving adoption, unexpected parentage or traumatic histories may reveal distressing information; you may pause or decline further work.
Only authorized, proportionate research is accepted. We do not contact relatives, archives, match owners or outside professionals on your behalf without separate explicit authorization. We do not enter paid commitments or use customer credentials. Unsupported relationships are never upgraded to certainty to satisfy a desired outcome.
